ANAEROBIC INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

The anaerobic treatment is a biological process carried out in the absence of oxygen, used to treat wastewater with a high organic load.  This process aims to transform the organic matter in the water into biogas, which is composed mainly by methane and carbon dioxide. The process generates, among other compounds, H2S which produces odors and must have special handling.
