COMPACT AEROBIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS

TECNIAGUAS® compact plants are built as transportable whole units completely assembled over structural skids, “plug and play” type.

The activated sludge treatment is a biological process carried out in the presence of oxygen provided by a blower that pumps air into the reactor through non-clogging submerged diffusers, which generate fine, medium or coarse bubbles, depending on the diffuser type. TECNIAGUAS® uses Jet Inc "Air-seal" diffusers, from USA, the only truly non-clogging ones in the Colombian market. In this process the wastewater and the microorganisms (biological sludge) are mixed and aerated. The settled sludge is recirculated to the reactor from the secondary clarifier, which is the essence of the process. The difference between the different types of activated sludge lies in the aeration and mixing regimes applied in each one of them.
